Wines from Cave de la Petite Revolution

Cave de la Petite Revolution

The wines of Cave de la Petite Revolution come from vineyards in the Var region in the Provence. Led by wine expert and journalist Gregor Drescher and after conducting extensive research, a few parcels were identified between Draguignan and Fayence that possess a very special terroir and old, magnificent vines. To ensure quality without compromise yields per plant are reduced from the traditional 2-3 kg down to less than 250 g, resulting in a highly concentrated and long-lasting aroma.

The aim of Cave de la Petite Revolution is to produce small quantities of wine icons that can compete with the world's greatest wines. The historical 17th-century wine cellar, Cave de la Petite Révolution, is located near Saint-Tropez and was restored to return to traditional methods. This micro-cellar has a maximum capacity of only 6 barriques per vintage. In a "classic" year, only two barrels are dedicated to the Grand Vin "Visionnaire" and "À l’Attention des Divins," two barrels "Salaux," and one barrel for "la g.," the Enfant Terrible.

In 2015 a wine is made from vineyards from the Alto Adige in Italy, the Risorgimento.
